Guitar Center also tends to hold new models of guitars and other merchandise to release it Black Friday weekend as part of the holiday sale hype. If you are interested in a big ticket pricing, Black Friday often sees excellent zero interest financing options to make the dream a reality.
Can you haggle prices at Guitar Center?
In a very unique policy, Guitar Center often will be amenable to slight haggling on their higher priced guitar models. Typically, there will be information on the computer screen in front of the cashier which lists a secret lowest price that the sales associate is allowed to sell the item for. Its always worth it to try your luck and see if you can't come to an agreement on a price even lower than the advertised price.
Will Guitar Center allow instrument try-outs during Black Friday?
Due to the current covid-19 pandemic and the expected high level of foot traffic this year in Guitar Center, we expect instrument trials to be severely limited. Each store may have one music room open however, we recommend shopping with an intended item in mind rather than just window shopping this year as the lines and wait times will likely be higher than previous years.
