IKEA’s Black Friday sale makes the already affordable Swedish home furnishings even more accessible! This year, IKEA will be offering rotating deals from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday that feature discounts across various furniture categories including discounts on all sleeper sofas, day beds, and select lamps and lighting. IKEA will also be offering free Click & Collect order pickup at your favorite store as well as meal deals for their famous cafe to keep shopped fueled while they get their Black Friday shopping done.

This year, Ikea took a unique spin on Black Friday by offering to purchase back old furniture from their customers, rather than push new sales. During this sustainability effort, IKEA is encouraging shoppers to trade in old, unwanted furniture items which IKEA will responsibly reuse or recycle.

Does IKEA have a Black Friday sale?
IKEA offers some of their best prices of the year for Black Friday. The IKEA deals will be available on their website starting on Thanksgiving Thursday and in store starting early Black Friday morning.
Will IKEA be offering free treats to shoppers?
Historically, cafe areas within IKEA stores have offered free and discounted coffee and breakfast items to the earliest customers on Black Friday morning. IKEA has not yet announce its plans for in person shopping this year but we expect these free goodies to be much more limited this year due to the pandemic. It is likely that they will prefer to keep customers safely socially distanced with face masks in place, making eating and drinking while shopping difficult.
Does IKEA deliver?
IKEA does direct freight shipments for their online purchases. These shipments come from a main IKEA warehouse and can sometimes take a few days longer to arrive for logistical reasons. If you need your purchase ASAP, we recommend you try to shop in store and carry it home that day.
