What You Should Know

Can I buy True Value Black Friday deals online?
Yes! All of the great discounts from True Value Hardware will be available both online and in store. We expect the prices to go live around midnight on Wednesday night and be available in store early Friday morning!
Will True Value price match Black Friday deals?
It is very rare for retailers, even those with a normally generous price matching policy, to allow for price matches during Black Friday weekend. True Value is in the vast majority that considers Black Friday weekend a "retail holiday" and therefore will not honor price match requests during this timeframe. Also, many stores' price matching policies require the item in question to be currently in stock at the competing store in order to honor their price. This is to defend against prior sale pricing that was offered by competitors in bad faith, knowing that they wouldn't stock many items themselves at the amazing deal price while forcing competitors to lose money on price matching them on their full inventory.
What can we expect from True Value this year?
We have not yet received the Black Friday sale ad for this year from True Value yet, but we expect to see similar offers to previous years. Shoppers will be encouraged to 'create their own Black Friday deal' by using a coupon for 50% off any one item (under $50) of their choice! They will also have LED holiday lights for under $10, discounts on all DeWalt tools, buy one get one free on EasyCare paint gallons, 20% off all pre-lit Christmas trees, and over 50% off select odds and ends throughout the store!
